Like many sisters, we learned about makeup from each other, often ‘borrowing’ makeup products from one another. Growing up in Dubai, beauty and makeup have always played a large role in our life. As we grew older, our interest in wellness also grew. We adopted a holistic lifestyle and began to realize that what we put on our skin is just as important as what we put in our body. This is when we entered the world of clean beauty. We found that buying clean makeup can be sometimes be complicated and scary, which can overshadow the real fun of makeup. We also realized that there weren’t any clean makeup brands in Dubai. This set us upon our mission to create Avvai Beauty — a 100% transparent clean makeup brand that makes clean beauty cool.
